Today’s Book Burning

Greetings, Patriots, bikers and friends. Welcome to a new week. I do not know about you, but I have to wonder what the hell we can expect this week to bring? I hope to hell it is nothing as dramatic as we witnessed last week. But waking up this morning, I realized that the efforts to censor what we can read is only getting more flagrant. Honestly, I was so glad to kick 2020 to the curb,11 days ago, but it appears things are spinning more out of control in 2021 than in 2020.

Last Wednesday, we witnessed total #Anarchy at our nation’s capitol complex. While I am not going to dive into the specifics of what happened there, in this post, if you would like to read more about last Wednesday’s events, check out my previous article: Have We Lost Our Republic? Today, I am going to talk about our ever more rapid slide towards a true #Communist state.

A Modern Day Book Burning?

During the early 1930s, Nazism was a relatively new ideology. In an effort to indoctrinate the people of Germany, and Austria, efforts were made to remove from sight anything which could provide the people opposing views. One component of this effort was burning books. The featured image of this post is of the Deutsche Studentenschaft (DSt) – known in English as the German Student Union – ceremoniously burning books.

Fast forward to 2021 and I believe we are witnessing a similar event in the growth of #CancelCulture. The #Leftists want nothing more than to cancel all conservative thought and remove it from sight. At the start of last week, I would have never expected the unfolding events to lead to where we are at the start of this week. Last Wednesday morning, before the joint session of congress met to certify the Electoral College vote, President Trump spoke to his supporters at the Stop The Steal Rally:

I have watched unedited video of Trump’s comments to his supporters many times, and for the life of me, I cannot pick out any call for violence at our capitol complex. But the Left has seized on his comments to demand the president’s cabinet invoke the 25th Amendment. And if that doesn’t take place today, they are also threatening a second impeachment. Seriously, don’t those fucking deadbeats in the House of Representatives have better things to do – like get a stimulus bill passed to provide Americans some much needed cash? But don’t be fooled! The reason they are threatening impeachment is to prevent Trump from ever holding public office again!

But all of the posturing on the Left, to remove Trump from office, is just the same old, same old. After nearly four years of investigations, we are used to this behavior from our elected officials. What I find most disturbing is what took place over the past weekend.

First, on Friday evening, Trump’s personal Twitter account, @realDonaldTrump, was suspended permanently by Twitter. This was preceded by Facebook, YouTube and Instagram putting a two week lock on his official accounts on those platforms. But Twitter did not stop there. Twitter also locked the official government account, @POTUS, which is owned by the U.S. Government. They removed all of Trump’s posts there since his Christmas greeting.

But the hits kept coming over the weekend as Apple and Google removed the popular free speech platform, Parler, from their respective app stores. And not to be out done, Amazon Web Services, a wholly owned company of Amazon, canceled their contract with Parler, whose platform they hosted. This has effectively closed Parler down – removing one of the few social media platforms, with the exceptions being MeWe and Gab, from sight. Heaven only knows how long these two remaining free speech social media sites will stay up. Both are already experiencing unprecedented growth, their servers barely keeping up with the heavy traffic – if at all. Can you say “Modern Day Book Burning?”

Conclusion

I am a YUGE fan of reading. I love real books. The older the better. But books are rapidly becoming a thing of the past. Yes, there are still a few books stores – and of course there is Kindle and Apple E-books. But the majority of what people read today is what they find on social media. So with the expungement of Donald Trump from every platform he used to communicate with the country, we are experiencing the modern day equivalent to book burning.

The Great Conservative Cleansing

Two weeks ago, I was simply looking forward to the end of 2020 – without a doubt the worst year I have been on the earth. I wrote about this in the article: R.I.P. 2020! But 2021 is off to fucked up start too.

I will not rehash this week other than to provide some bullet points of this week’s craziness:

MAGA Patriots began assembling last Saturday and Sunday, in Washington, DC, for the Stop The Steal Rally
Antifa/BLM counter-protesters came right in with them – often being bused into the capital
Monday and Tuesday witnessed peaceful events during the MAGA rally
Wednesday we watched as VP Mike Pence presided over the certification of Electoral College votes from November’s stolen election
Wednesday we also witnessed the extreme anarchy – which the #Leftists embrace – as Antifa thugs masquerading as MAGA Patriots attempted to take over the capitol complex
On Thursday, the drunkard Nancy Pelosi, urged Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from office
On Friday, Twitter permanently suspended the account of President Donald Trump

Yesterday’s Great Conservative Cleansing

I woke up yesterday morning and was deep in thought while I was drinking my morning coffee. You see, I do some of my best thinking when enjoying my morning caffeine. And the one thing which kept lighting up my brain neurons was that Donald Trump is actually needed more as a private citizen. He was never able to DRAIN THE SWAMP – as president – because he was fighting a fully entrenched DEEP STATE. I firmly believe that his higher calling is to create a new party – the Patriot Party. Because of Trump’s faithful MAGAs – numbering over 75 million – he is the only person who can form a party to compete with our current two party system. Okay, let met get back on track here…

The first indication that something evil was happening yesterday was when I was on Twitter promoting yesterday’s blog post. As usual, I was dropping my Tweet into groups I am in and I noticed a few Patriot accounts being suspended. Then the floodgates opened. Literally hundreds of my favorite Tweeters were suspended. I have been on Twitter long enough to have seen a few accounts here and there being nuked – but never anything like the purge I witnessed yesterday.

Around 5:30 PM yesterday, I fully realized this was a Conservative Cleansing when Twitter suspended President Donald Trump’s account:

Full on Communist Censorship

At first, I was simply shocked – not believing it could be true. How in the hell can a private company remove the president’s ability to communicate with the American people? We know the Mainstream Media (MSM) refuses to provide Trump a platform to communicate. He has been effectively muted. This may well be the most Marxist event we have YET TO SEE in the United States. While the #Communists in the MSM, print newspaper and social media have loathed Trump since he came down the escalator, this really is fucking unacceptable. I believe it is a threat to our national security to silence our Republic’s chief executive officer.

What is going on right now is straight Orwellian: a total totalitarian state. But it appears that George Orwell had the year incorrect – it was to be 2021 – not 1984. Who is complicit in forming this totalitarian state? There are a lot of complicit bad actors: Democrats, Democrat Socialists, RINOs, the MSM, the print press – and especially social media/tech: Twitter, Facebook, Google, Instagram, YouTube, etc., etc. Most of the sheeple do not pay much attention to the MSM, New York Times, The Hill or the Huffington Post. They get their news from Facebook and Twitter. And these entities totally control what the masses get to see. So with the expunging of so many conservative voices – and our great president – Twitter has effectively participated in The Great Conservative Cleansing. And sure, we are seeing a host of new “free speech” platforms like Parler, MeWe and Gab. But these are being pushed into the periphery – if not the grave – by Google and Apple’s threat to remove their apps from their respective app stores. And what reason have they provided for giving such a threat? That these apps do not restrict conservative voices. So, the battle for FREE SPEECH is just now ramping up.

Conclusion

We have never witnessed the things we are seeing today, brothers and sisters. As difficult as it has become, we must KEEP THE FAITH. I have pretty much lost all hope that Trump has any chance to remain president. But I do truly believe his higher calling is to rescue us conservatives from being forced to vote for the lesser of two despicable evils – Republicans – and he has recently mentioned starting a social media platform. Let’s all stick together. Our country needs us more than ever.

Is Social Media Too Powerful?

The Grey Beard Biker is not exactly asking this question rhetorically. We use Google, Gmail, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Pinterest all the time. And while Google is not directly a social media platform any longer, their wholly-owned subsidiary, YouTube, is. These companies have tremendous power to influence huge portions of our population – and for that matter – the world’s population.

Fake News, Media and Political Bias

You may have found a link to this opinion piece via Facebook. It is a great platform to reach people with similar interests, be it riding motorcycles, sharing great motorcycle roads, gun talk or politics. But platforms like Facebook, Instagram and YouTube have the ability through their unique recipes of algorithms to throttle back posts which they do not necessarily agree with. By reducing the audience for a post your ever lovable Grey Beard Biker makes, and filling your newsfeed with articles they agree with, they hold immense power over all of us.

Facebook, the mainstream media and even newspaper sites never seem to tire of pushing things to a public which in most cases don’t know they’re being duped. This is always most blatant when it comes to political news and polling data. Do you remember how badly Hillary Clinton was going to beat Donald J. Trump in the 2016 election? Every mainstream media poll showed Hillary beating him, and most likely in a landslide. Of course, when it did not happen they looked for ways to discredit his administration and make him the accidental president. He isn’t.

Is Google Dangerous?

Because the Grey Beard looks far and wide for news which might be of interest to you, he dug up some scathing information on Google – a company which has revenues of nearly $100 billion per year. A company we use nearly everyday when we go online. A company which knows more about each of us than our own families do.

Project Veritas has become synonymous with blowing up campaigns of politicians by embedding people in campaign offices. Once there, they will secretly record video/audio of campaign staffers talking about their opposition, lies the candidates have made on the campaign trail and other less than savory details about the politician. Project Veritas singlehandedly brought down two U.S. Senate campaigns last year in Claire McCaskill (D-MO) and Phil Bredesen (D-TN).

Project Veritas – Google’s plans to prevent “Trump Situation”

Now, Project Veritas is doing it again with tech-companies. Recently they posted information about Google which should scare the Hell out of anyone who values privacy and most importantly – the TRUTH. But, Project Veritas has recruited whistleblowers at not just Google, but their fully owned subsidiary, YouTube. The revelations which have come from these people are beyond scary. I will share links to the actual articles Project Veritas has written, where you can also find video of a Google executive being secretly recorded. But here are just a few of the things which they have uncovered:

Here is a quote from Jen Gennai, Google’s Head of Responsible Innovation (what kind of Orwellian title is that?):

“Elizabeth Warren is saying we should be break up Google. And like, I love her but she’s very misguided, like that will not make it better, it will make it worse, because all these smaller companies who don’t have the same resources which we do will be charged with preventing the next Trump situation, it’s like a small company cannot do that.” – Jen Gennai

What she is obviously referring to is another Trump victory in 2020. At least she is willing to say that Democrat Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), a 2020 Democratic presidential candidate, is misguided. Most all people recognized that several years ago.

As the Project Veritas article goes on to describe, Jen Gennai is responsible for evaluating “responsible” implementation of Google’s upcoming Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies. These technologies will allow Google’s algorithms to filter out news, whether true or not, that could lead to what Ms. Gennai went on to say:

“We all got screwed in 2016, again it wasn’t just us, the people got screwed over, the news media got screwed over, like, everybody got screwed over so we’re rapidly been like, what happened there and how do we prevent it from happening again?”

“We’re also training our algorithms, like if 2016 happened again, would we have, would the outcome be different?” – Jen Gennai, Google executive

Grey Beard will spare you some of the complex details, which you can read in the linked article, but rest assured, what they are after is a “fair and equitable state!” With their “Machine Learning Fairness,” Google will be promoting a political agenda by using their algorithms to restrict what we see in their search results and news articles. Ms. Gennai continued,

“The reason we launched our A.I. principles is because people were not putting that line in the sand, that they were not saying what’s fair and what’s equitable so we’re like, well we are a big company, we’re going to say it.” – Jen Gennai – Google executive

Grey Beard Biker’s conclusions

Ms. Gennai, we are not automatons. We can all make our own decisions about what is “fair and equitable.” While the Grey Beard Biker does not agree with Elizabeth Warren often, now he does. Google is too big and too powerful. They have too much information on me, and everyone else. Your plans to use machine learning to restrict the information I want to find is as scary as using genetic engineering to make sure your next child is a girl, with blond hair and blue eyes. Grey Beard, for one, hopes that the inevitable testimony your company provides to our legislators will lead to the breakup of Google.

Watch for more posts, in the not too distant future, about Google and it’s subsidiary, YouTube. You are in for a shock!

Salon Article: Guns Increase Testosterone & Aggressiveness

Some stuff just can’t be made up. We live in a world of fake news. Facebook is especially guilty of making sure liberal news headlines reach everyone’s news feed. But today, Personal Defense World shared portions of an article which was written by Thom Hartmann, a fellow at the Independent Media Institute, and who is regularly published in Salon magazine.

If the article was not so entirely preposterous, it would probably have never made any news sites whatsoever – besides Facebook.

Here are some of the key findings listed in the article.

With a gun in his hand, a man can look around the room, a building, or a public area and specifically identify who will instantaneously die and whom he will allow to live.
The power of life and death is greater and more intoxicating than any other power; it’s one of the reasons why some men are specifically drawn to these professions (priesthood, doctors, police and soldiers) and have historically tried to regulate them to be male-only.
If you are not a male and have never carried a gun in public, it’s only an imaginary experiment, but science shows that simply handling a gun alters men’s levels of testosterone and measurably increases their aggressive behavior.

What’s most telling for the purpose of the Salon article is Hartmann’s conclusions:

If you have to register a car and have a driver’s license, guns should be registered and the owner should have a license, presumably a Federal license;
If a driver has to have liability insurance, gun owners should also be required to have liability insurance;
If a driver has to prove their skills by taking a written exam and driving test, gun owners should have to do the same.

Let’s have your lovable Grey Beard Biker refute the overall basis of the article:

Men walk around determining who should live and die: There are literally million of concealed carry permit holders – including women – who are the only people legally able to carry a gun outside their homes. Hell, as you might expect, the GBB is licensed to carry. Speaking for myself, I have never walked into a room picking out people to kill and people to live.
The power of life and death is intoxicating: What the fuck? I have never even thought of having the power of life and death over another living person. And as for priests, preachers, police officers and doctors being intoxicated with their power over who dies, most of these individuals would agree that all of them are more interested with the “life” component than the “death component.” Lastly, each profession Hartmann lists, has more than its fair share of women dedicated to the field – including soldiers.
Testosterone in men increases when they are handling a gun: This is the most outlandish of any of Hartmann’s assertions. Seriously, Thom Hartmann, you even state in your article that it was an imaginary experiment. Since when, do imaginary experiments remotely have legitimacy?

Now let use talk about your conclusions, Mr. Hartmann.

License gun owners and register their guns: We already have background checks on all purchases of firearms – including those purchased online and those on the internet. What purpose would a Federal gun license or a Federal/State gun registration scheme serve other than providing a list of addresses for some overarching oligarch to send their gestapo to seize law abiding citizens’ firearms? Or, perhaps in your case, the registration would allow a publication such as Salon to get a list of legal gun owners’ addresses so you can publish them? It’s been done before.
Require gun owners have liability insurance on their firearms: This is totally leftist code for, “This is how we can make a criminal of law abiding citizens and take their guns!” Having worked in the casualty insurance industry for 30 years, old Grey Beard knows no insurance company is ever going to underwrite such a policy. EVER. If they do, the costs will be prohibitive for all but the extremely wealthy elites Salon caters to: actors, actresses, athletes, politicians, etc. Those with walls around their homes and personal security to escort them around town.
Concealed carry holders have to prove their competency: Dumbass, this is already a part of the process of getting a concealed carry permit in almost every state – and these are the only people who can LEGALLY carry a gun outside their homes!

Thom Hartmann, you cannot hide your true colors. You align yourself with gun grabbers like Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Maxine Watters, AOC, etc. You want to have your form of a Utopian Society where guns are illegal. A society where the only people with guns are criminals – criminals who would not hesitate for one second to shoot you between your eyes and take your wallet – something no legal, concealed carry permit holder would ever do. We would be the ones protecting your ass. Now go back to your mommy’s basement couch and STFU.
